Dr. Rosa Yolanda Pineda has an array of experiences serving with the educational school system to managing her own Social Justice Ministry over at St. Elizabeth’s Church found in Washington Heights. Her experiences array and flow through a different range of jobs. She has served communities of people of color, those who have struggled with affordable housing, and in serving the community of Washington Heights when she started the Green Space Initiative with her son, Omar Gonzalez, back in 2019!

Omar Gonzalez, born and raised in the Washington Heights area, has served alongside his mother, Dr. Rosa Yolanda Pineda, within Connectemonos for the entirety of time since it’s first beginnings. With his background experience in real estate and entrepreneurship lifestyle, he has been able to successfully and tiresley integrate numerous opportunities for the youth, as he is passionate about youth empowerment and leadership! He has a wonderful family with his partner, Jennifer Rosenbloom, their two kids, Nico and Marcos, along with their cats and dogs!

Meet Dinora! She has been working alongside Connectemonos staff for the past four years now! She is engaged, enthusiastic, and passionate about empowering youth and believes that pushing past expectations and limits is where our character truly gets molded. Primarily, she began working as a volunteer, and moved up the career ladder as time passed by and has now joined the Board with even more fire and passion to strengthen the youth!
